Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this tragic event.

What if…

What if you woke up today and…

You didn’t know where you were…

You didn’t know what happened to you…

You couldn’t use your hands….

You couldn’t do anything for yourself…

This is the new reality that many of our Wounded Warriors wake up to.  In one instant, their independence, and mobility has been taken away.  Their support structure is gone and replaced with a strange new world. It is extremely important, to aid in recovery and rehabilitation, that as much of the freedom and independence that has been taken away, be restored.  These men and women have the drive and the grit to recover as fully as possible and Valour-IT seeks to give them the tools to help do that.

Voice-controlled Laptops – Operated by speaking into a microphone or using other adaptive technologies, they allow the wounded to maintain connections with the rest of the world during recovery.

Wii Video Game Systems – Whole-body game systems increase motivation and speed recovery when used under the guidance of physical therapists in therapy sessions (donated only to medical facilities).
Personal GPS –
Handheld

GPS devices build self-confidence and independence by compensating for short-term memory loss and organizational challenges related to severe TBI and severe PTSD.

Donate to the MARINE TEAM TODAY!!! Every penny we raise, goes directly to purchase equipment and software for these Warriors.  They have given a lot – can’t you give just a little?
