Here is an easy, no brainer, way to help out Soldiers’ Angels. Vote every day in the Pepsi Refresh Contest. The winner is get a grant for the specified project – in this case it will provide $$$ for Project SAVE (Support A Vet’s Employment). We are 76th in the standings so far, we have a long way to go!!!
Veterans Plaza Project
The City of Fort Collins has donated land for the plaza, to be built using community donations, to be located at the Spring Canyon Community Park. This visionary plaza will incorporate sandstone paths, native rock, shade trees, and a natural stone stage for celebrating the liberties and freedoms that have been protected by our Military Service Members. By providing proof of military service, new names may be listed at the Fort Collins Veterans Plaza at no cost to the individual/family. While the Veterans Plaza is located in Fort Collins, local residency is not a requirement for listing, but either the nominator or the service member must have a tie to Northern Colorado. Names currently engraved at the memorial in Edora Park will be listed at the new location. Veteran’s names may also include those currently serving. Nominations may be made by filling in the form HERE.
Semper Feet
Semper Feet is the brain child of Mrs. P from A Little Pink in a World of Camo. She has gotten lots of pairs of socks donated to send to the Marines and now is in need of postage for the shipping. Give a click on the Semper Feet logo to find out more!! Every little bit helps. You can donate thru Soldiers’ Angels via paypal, just be sure to note that it is for Semper Feet, so it goes into the postage fund for this. Thanks in advance!!!
Shooting Sports Expo and Fund Raiser
It’s that time of year again! The Weld County Fish and Wildlife High Country Shooting Range will be hosting their annual Family Shooting Sports Expo. I have attended the past two years and it is great fun!! Check out their newsletter for more info:

AND – Even better – Soldiers’ Angels will have a booth there this year!!! I was invited to host a booth in the vendor tent. We will have lots of information about all the projects that Soldiers’ Angels is doing and lots of SA items for “sale” (donation). We will kick off our Silent Auction, courtesy of Colorado Shooting Sports - Anthony Navarro has generously donated a Tactical Pistol Class to be auctioned to the highest bidder.

This Colorado Shooting Sports course is an intense, information-packed experience. This CCW Tactical Pistol Course training meets and often EXCEEDS that of the ADVANCED courses in other Colorado Firearms Training Schools. The course that will be auctioned off will consist of:
