On my way home from work today, I spotted a yellow caution sign on the side of the highway, so of course, I slowed down. I expected the usual “Survey Crew” or “Median Mowing” sign. Guess what? Nope!
“Narcotics Checkpoint ahead 1 Mile”
Guess we need to give the dopeheads substance abusers warning that they need to dump their “illicit narcotics” right now. At least the sign was only in English, making sure that you have to be able to read English (or just be able to read), so all the illegal recent immigrants will be weeded out. Wait – Up comes another sign: “Narcotics Checkpoint 1/2 mile” IN BOTH SPANISH AND ENGLISH!
I’ll bet when the ditch cleaning crews from the jail clean the medians again, they will find some real interesting stuff.
