Last night I got my birthday present. A box of books.

I sat up and read the first one straight through and it is one of the best books I have ever read ( And I used to check out 25 to 30 books every week from the library).

It is Rule Number Two: Lessons I Learned in a Combat Hospital“> by Dr. Heidi Squier Kraft

I cried the whole time I was reading it.

Arthur C. Clarke, Author, Royal Air Force officer, died Tuesday, at age 90. As a teenager, he was one of my favorite authors. I always loved that his stories had a solid grounding in science.

Another person I admire is gone. That sucks.
